Alumni Volunteers

The LEADER Alumni Volunteer Program is a one-of-a-kind experience available to LEADER, Ivey and Western University alumni.

Over the course of the two-week LEADER program, you will coach local entrepreneurs in emerging markets, and teach cases and lectures alongside a team of current Ivey students. You will also get to explore the local culture with your LEADER Instructor team.

  • What it Costs You

Participating Alumni Volunteers are required to purchase their own flights and contribute a $1,000 donation for one week and a $2,000 donation for two weeks commitment to the LEADER Endowment Fund.

The LEADER Endowment Fund currently supports the expansion of the Project to new sites and serves as a contingency fund to mitigate against financial shocks to the Project such as those that were experienced during the global pandemic. The Endowment Fund is administered by Ivey Advancement and held with the University of Western Ontario. Strategic uses of funds are at the discretion of the LEADER Advisory Board.

“LEADER was the best part of the Ivey experience. It makes you think in every business situation about whether you truly understand where the other person is coming from…It feels just as amazing and powerful to be an Alumni Volunteer LEADERite 10 years later, but you bring something completely different to the table.”
