Sponsorship

The LEADER Project is a unique student run program offered by the Richard Ivey School of business - Canada’s Leading Business School.

Each year the Leader Project relies on the support of corporations, foundations, and individuals to fund its operations. Without the on-going commitment and generosity of LEADER’s sponsors, the Project’s initiatives and continued existence would be severely limited. The LEADER Project needs your support. LEADER instructors participate on a purely voluntary basis and receive no financial remuneration for their efforts. Site partners do not receive any financial contribution from the Richard Ivey School of Business or the LEADER Project. LEADER instructors are required to donate a minimum cash contribution every year as a sign of their commitment to the principles of the Project. This is over and above the countless hours LEADER instructors donate to put the Program together.

Corporate Sponsorship Benefits

The ongoing success of the LEADER Project fundraising relies on strong corporate partnerships. As LEADER grows and evolves we continue to seek new ways to offer value to sponsors including:

Enhanced Profile in Leading Canadian Media

The LEADER Brand is well-known and understood. The unique nature of the LEADER Project regularly attracts media coverage from a variety of national sources. A good example of this was the 2001 Canadian Business MBA issue which featured a multi-page article on LEADER’s work in Russia, providing mention of our corporate sponsors. More recently, LEADER was featured in the Globe and Mail on February 1, 2006.

Enhanced Relationships and Profile with Top Ivey Students

Throughout its history, LEADER has consistently attracted top MBA and HBA student participants who are dedicated to strengthening their leadership skills and building their understanding of international business. LEADER offers enhanced recruiting opportunities through access to LEADER participants in addition to helping raise the sponsor’s profile among all students at the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Congruence with Corporate Goals

LEADER offers its corporate sponsors a partnership with the LEADER Project. As we continue to innovate and achieve so too do our corporate partners. LEADER is committed to working with its sponsors to help them achieve success.
